MG and Ariostea : two companies that united their know how to enter the Japanese market
MG Srl has built together with Ariostea MHS Srl, a company from Brescia, a line for the construction of Silos establishing a great revolution in this area.
Before Silos were built in sections and transported to the final location, then disassembled, reassembled and finally welded together, in other words at the customers site.
The innovative advantage of this new method is that the silos can be made and assembled directly to the operational site avoiding then pre-assembly, disassembly and transport costs.
Placed on a basement built with such dimension that can be transported on a standard truck, three MG machines are positioned, the straightening machine, a forming machine and a plate rolling machine. The first step for the coil is to go through MG made leveling machine, where it is straightened. The second step is through the forming machine, also MG made, this process ensures that the edges are folded and the angles are created, which will then be welded in a following step. Afterwards the sheet plate goes through the plate-rolling machine, another key product part of MG’s main know how, this process creates the bending radius. An advance radius control system is mounted right on the exit side of the plate rolling machine, this devise was fully designed and made by DELSY, a company part of MG group. Finally, with a spiral upwards movement towards the top, the metal plate is ready to become silos: Then Ariostea technology welds the spiral at every turn and height obtained, ending them the operation by anchoring it to the ground, inserting the bottom part, as well as the assembly of the upper cap.
A Japanese company acquired this multiform and highly innovative line, the engineers in April came to see their machine in MG in our factory here in Fossano. Discussions are already in place for a further similar line, this time the destination is Canada.
